Cool Pet Stuff

Collar on Freddie
Freddie hiding on the other side of the room so that we don't take her collar again.

As you know Freddie did not come from the best of conditions, she's not willing to share her experiences at this time, but it was clear that she was not given the love, toys and treats she deserves. We have been getting Freddie her own toys and such, but Mommy has been on a mission to find a special collar for Freddie, her old one was icky and her collar said gurl, that was her old name. Mommy has ventured to every pet store and pet site and finally found an awesome collar at an Ebay store called Retro Pet. All of the collars are hand made and are very reasonably priced. Freddie's collar arrived on Wednesday and she LOVES it. She get cranky when you try and take it off or touch it. She pranced arround the house and was so happy to have her new collar. Freddie's camera shy so it was hard to get a picture of it on her, but here are a couple of pictures of the collar. I am going to ask Santa for a Retro Pet collar for Christmas.

P.S. Kara asked if I was still eating poo. I still like poo, but haven't eaten any since getting a sister, so maybe a sibling is the true remedy for ending poo eating.
Update: Mommy is so smart! There is now a link to Retro Pet under the Non-Pug links on the right. Check it out.

Busy Week

Happy Sunday! Sorry for the delay in posts, but it has been very hectic around here. Mommy's been training new staff, going to school and working. Freddie and I are playing with Daddy and Melody a lot. I have discovered that Freddie is camera shy and does not like it when the camera is brought out, she hides from the camera so we are trying to work on that little issue. Everything else is going great. It's hot in St. Louis, but we have been going on evening walks. Last weekend grandma, Aunt Audrey, Hayden and Chandler came to visit. I don't think Hayden liked me all that much. He likes to run, so I run after him and then he cries. Strange humans, I just want to play. Chandler petted us and played with us, we liked her a lot. There are a lot of pugs and pets that are in need due to recent events in the south, if you can please help out. Petsmart and the Humane Society are just two of the organizations trying to help animals in needs. Please visit www.petsmart.com or www.hsus.org to donate.

Day Three

Things are going great here. We have been to Petsmart numerous times, we've gone bu-byes, on walks, played in the yard, and played with our toys. Freddie doesn't have the engery that the Snarf has, so she has to take breaks and find a lap. She loves giving kisses, especially ear kisses, we each take a side and snarf Daddy. It's great! Some people have asked how Freddie got her name. When Mommy and Daddy first answered the ad me and Daddy were listening to Queen music and Daddy wanted to name the new pug Freddie. When we found out the the pug was a girl, Daddy still liked the name Freddie. Mommy added the Queen part (Daddy is not sure that he likes it) and they decided to add the Rene, because Rene helped us get her. My middle name is Taylor after my breeder's daughter who grilled Mommy and Daddy to make sure that they would take good care of me. I personally liked Fat Bottom Girl, but Mommy said that it wasn't nice. All is good in the Samsonhood.
More pictures and updates to come. Check out Freddie's Dogster page, you'll find the link to the right.

Snarf you later.
